About Get Involved Bend:
Welcome to Get Involved Bend, where we are connecting the passions and resources of Central Oregonians to the needs of our community. The Get Involved Bend website came about as a project of the Bend Chamber’s 2007 Leadership Bend Class. The idea stemmed from a desire to have a single location listing all available volunteer opportunities and resulted in the creation of this site; a place for the civic minded people of Central Oregon to search out and become involved with the organizations and events that match their passions. Get Involved Bend also benefits the many incredible Non-Profit organizations of Central Oregon. These organizations can utilize this site to aid with event planning, as well as connecting with citizens and businesses looking to volunteer time, services, or resources.
